Throwback to my summer vacation

Sunny times...

This easter vacation we went to Mexico / Playa del Carmen and had an amaaazing time.
I'm still dreaming of it...
Now I wanted to share some of my favorite pics with you:

    This was our gorgeous hotel...

The food (and especially the guacamole and the fresh fruit, which were offered at any time and         with any meal) are definitely one of the best parts of this vacation *-*

The absolute highlight of this stay was definitely our trip to "Isla Contoy"- a national park right in the Carribean Sea.
As you might imagine, it was simply stunning to see all the fauna and flora of this island.
For lunch there was a barbecue with fresh salad, guacamole, grilled fish & chicken. Healthy & sooo good.

All in all, I recommand Mexico, and the region around Cancun and Playa del Carmen to everyone of you, who is looking for a relaxing, sunny and warm(!) time. Don't forget to bring your bikini, sunscreen, sunglasses, snorkel aaand appetite (but don't worry gaining weight- in most hotels there is a gym or also healthier choices at the buffet.

Hope you liked this post,

see y'all

Above the clouds...

...life seems easy.

Hello everyone :)

I took this picture on my flight to Mexico, when we were right above Iceland.
It was simply breathtaking because I could figure out some growlers and it was, in any way, pretty relaxing for me. I've never seen such ice landscapes before and I was really impressed!

However, the actual thing I wanted to share with my readers is that I am going to be a Highschool student for one year in a few weeks. I feel pretty excited about that experience and I can't wait to get in a plane and take off for one year...
Well, in some quite moments I try to realize what a long time that will be- so many months without my family- my annoying teenage sisters, my lovely mom and dad, my friends, my hometown aaaand everything else I couldn't live without.
It might sound strange but when I saw these blue-white natural beauty I began to think about that. And I really felt strange. I did. Otherwise I could die because I'm too excited to can call myself an original Highschool student (which is pretty cool, isn't it?!)

Well, I hope that you guys find some time, whenever, in your life, to think about things you love in your live- no matter if you will go away for some time or always stay where you are at the moment. I think we should really learn to appreciate even the small things, those, which you can't buy. (And sometimes those things are your moms spaghettis or cookies- which are adorable!)

Okay hoping not to get you moody or whatever, I would love to hear what you couldn't live without.

Bye bye,
Lauraa :))

today's favorites

Hey guys :)

So excited to upload my first "real" blogpost- my favorites of the day.

The watch and the lovely bracelet are actually my everyday-essentials, because they're a present of my parents and they mean a lot to me.
(The awesome box belongs to the bracelet)

Who else loves Essie? The nail polishes last sooo long and I really love the colors of Essie lacquers! (I have to admit- I'm obsessed...)

Hope you had a good day or will have a good one, depending on your timezone.

Bye,
Lauraa <3
